Earlier today we brought you national (day after) signing day at Turpin. Now, we bring you the senior sports stars of Anderson High School. They signed letters of intent with some great colleges late this morning.

14-year-old Valerie Borger (almost 15) is one to watch in the water at Turpin High School. Even though she’s only a freshman, she set a school record Wednesday night 2/4 in the 50 yard freestyle.
Valerie swam 50 yards in 24.7 seconds. The previous record was 24.97 seconds. In swimming, that’s a big difference!

Columbus DeSales was ranked number one in the state, and even Redskins coach Jeff Giesting was holding off on predicting a win when we heard from him yesterday. But Anderson High School beat the favorite 14-10 last night in Dayton.
